What a great place to sit and relax either for breakfast or lunch. Lovely food, staff are friendly and relaxed, just what you would hope to find in a holiday environment. We rode our bikes there, but l guess you could catch the little train from town. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Choo Choos at St Crispins:
Hard to get a breakfast wrong but also hard to make it special. The all day breakfast at Choo Choos was too expensive compared to what was served and how it was presented.Besides that then the coffee was excellent and the beans actually roasted in Port Douglas. View all feedback.
A five minute drive away from Macrossan St which is very busy, to this cute cafe, plenty of parking, you order at the counter, and the meal is delivered to your table. Delicious french toast with lots of fruit, and the full breakfast was huge. Coffee was really good too. Plenty of room between tables. Reasonably priced. Would visit again if in the area.
First breakfast visit Nice views across the water to the golf course Standard breakfast menu with above average eggs benny and excellent coffee.
The setting is superb but from the moment we arrived it felt like chaos. Are they offering service or a Coles Cafateria experience? When we arrive the waiter looked straight through us. Do we seat ourselves or wait? We worked it our ourselves. You order where the meals are being dispensed then you line up again to pay!!! In the middle of our breakfast we asked for more coffee. The waitress pointed to the cash register.. there was no way she was going to take our order! Cheezzz... we just want a coffee with our breakfast!!! We lines up 3 times all in all... The food was nice enough but you can't really wreck breakfast...only with confused order of service!

A friend recommended this cafe and it didn't disappoint. It has a lovely setting and the calamari salad was beautiful and tasty. Coffee was also good.
