What Ced Ced doesn't like about Auberge de la Charente:
A splendid terrace on the banks of Charente, a correct table with an average price/quality ratio, a preparation of the dishes are all quite simplistic, or missing ending for a menu at 40€. A beautiful wine menu, however, pays close attention to all wines labeled organic, or biodynamic. We chose a wine that ultimately was a natural non-filtered wine that was not mentioned as such. We were very happy to find this restaurant open one evening in October, and especially the kitchen was delicious, with very good fresh, organic, local, and very well presented dishes. We recommend and we will return!
