The food here was excellent! Pure comfort food with an international twist. I had the potato leek soup it was thick, rich very tasty. The curry rice bowl with sausage was terrific too. It 's easy to tell that the food is homemade. Reasonably priced for such a high quality meal. Will definitely return when we 're in town. View all feedback.
What Maitê Vega doesn't like about The Saucy Pot:
Stopped in today to get Lasagna soup and the smells in this place literally make your mouth water. I wanted 1 of everything that was on the menu board but resisted. I got 2 medium soups that come with fresh warm breadsticks and it came...to $14.00...well worth it...the soup was grrreat! The chicken, beef, and turkey pot pies are all delicious. The soups are incredible, with options for meat-eaters, vegetarians, and vegans, all homemade and mouthwatering. Highly recommend trying them. Tyler and Christine are very welcoming and friendly hosts.
The saucy pot is always beyond amazing. vindaloo pot pie has to be one of my all time favourite dishes.

I am obsessed with the Saucy Pot. They offer a ton of AMAZING vegan and gluten free options. I am so impressed by their consistency and deliciousness. Couldn't be happier to have them in Port Colborne. The owners are 2 of the hardest working, happiest, most accommodating people I've ever met. 100% recommend this place! Get your butt over there!!
Making a spontaneous decision to turn around proved to be the highlight of my day. I stumbled upon a hidden treasure in this quaint little restaurant. The variety of fresh options available for a quick bite left me feeling delighted. I indulged in a satisfying chicken soup, a flavorful gumbo, and a delicious spanakopita pot pie. Each dish was prepared with attention to detail, leaving me eager to come back for more. This time, I won't hesitate on my way to this gem.
