We’re up north (well, if Ohio counts as north) in Lake County, and I’m in search of a good walleye dinner. It shouldn’t be too difficult to find, right? But why did my walleye arrive looking like it had just swum onto the plate? I ordered it broiled, not boiled! I did my best to salvage the dish by squeezing some lemon into it and adding a bit of the white wine sauce from the mussels (which were quite good), along wi... View all feedback.
What Michelle Ice doesn't like about Dock's Beach House:
View was great, our server was great.... unfortunately that was it. The bugs flying around your face and food ruined the evening. A couple fans around would keep the bugs away from guest but not a one to be found to help. We had so so ribs (meatwas to dry) and the rib eye was the worst piece of meat I've ever tried to eat. Guess we have gone with fish meals instead. View all feedback.
Great little beachside restaurant. Service was great, food fast and delicious. Dine in, at the bar or outside on the deck.Atmosphere relaxed. After your meal enjoy a beautiful walk on the beach or time dinner to catch a breathtaking sunset.
Open and airy restaraunt and bar directly at the lake, so good looking. the staff was fast and very friendly. the fish tacos with cash were excellent, aromen melt and complicate each other. the tortilla chips were busy, but good. the queen was good, but a little mild for me. the salsa was also good, but also a touch mild (I like spicy salsa.)
We are in the north (if ohio is north) in the sealand, so I am looking for a good Walleye fish dinner. it shouldn't be hard to find, should it? but why did my walleye come out as if it were swimming on the teller. so, I did the best I could, squeeze the lemon into the suppe and add a bit of white wine sauce from the mushles (they were pretty good) plus a little salt and pepper. stored by the muscheln of pei! I think we need to go further north, mi, mn, to find this perfect Walleye dinner. continue!
A great beach joint in Port Clinton serving up salads, sandwiches and of course perch and walleye. The walleye I had was fresh, cooked just right. Excellent frozen drinks, beers on tap. Friendly, laid back atmosphere, great service and reasonable prices. Definitely will be going back. Open May- October.
We had a great evening at Dock's Beach House. You can sit inside or outside by the lake; inside was a little dark. The food and service was excellent! I had the perch sandwich and it came with 4 nice filets, lettuce, tomato, tartar sauce, and fries. My wife enjoyed the perch tacos and my mother had the lobster bisque. Be prepared for a wait if you have a larger party; we enjoyed the beach.
