Everything was amazing! I got the 1812 chicken, best chicken I have ever had. Shay was an awesome waiter! My brother in law got the filet Mignon, was cooked perfectly. House bread house dressing was very good. Husband had beet salad lamb lollipops. Yummy! Their 1812 potatoes are really good too! Loved it! Sorry we didn't get any pics...we were too hungry. Bread pudding is absolutely delicious, along with their Creme... View all feedback.
What Liza Predovic doesn't like about 1812 Food Spirits:
This cute little place was great for the most part. Server Renee was amazing. The drinks were amazing the appetizers were great. Brussel Sprouts w/ cheese were to die for. The main course unfortunately was not that great. Everything was dry including the 1812 potatoes. Had lamb chops and I asked for medium and they were well and dry. Lobster was pretty good. We had a wonderful dinner there last night, and it was outstanding! The salmon with the orange and cranberry topping was the best salmon dish my partner has ever tasted. I ordered the scallops and shrimp bowl, and it was incredibly delicious! The chocolate cake we shared was the perfect way to finish our meal. The prices were reasonable, especially the wine, and the service was excellent. We will definitely be returning!
Let me get straight to the point: I came here after seeing a picture of their carrot cake. But I'll start from the beginning of the dinner. The restaurant has a stunning atmosphere. Everyone was well-dressed, the place was impeccably clean, and the staff was wonderful. The total cost meant I had to skip an appetizer. For the first time in years, I ordered the nativity, and it was excellent. The flavors really made me emotional; I loved it. The 1812 potatoes were delicious and perfectly cooked. The Cajun shrimp risotto was magnificent—though not too spicy, it had just the right kick, and the risotto itself was incredibly flavorful. I ended up bringing some home. Once I got home, it was time to indulge in dessert. The carrot cake was great, but the chocolate cake was so exceptional that it made the entire dinner worth the splurge. This was definitely a treat for us, and I’m glad we went for it.
I had a fantastic experience with both the service and the food. I particularly enjoyed the terrace and the live music. Although I didn't have dessert, they looked absolutely delicious.
My man and I celebrated our 46 here this month. jubilee. ordered the lobster dainties to share for an appetizer, and the wee recommended by our waiter. both were excellent. I ordered the lambskin, my man had steak. they enjoyed our escape but found there 1812 potato casrole was missing. too dry for us; we had a pretty early dinner @6pm,) so it wasn't as if it was all night. therefore we give him 4 stars, we would definitely come back. excellent service also!
