This is a little gem in Portchester! The food is fresh and tasty and the staff is lovely. We don't get there very often (we live 30 minutes away) but have been super happy with everything we have gotten there. Great sandwiches and Italian specialties. View all feedback.
What Jessica V doesn't like about A&s Fine Foods:
Food is good but the service could be way better. Called ahead and when I got there the woman didn't even bring my order to the kitchen. What was the point of calling ahead? View all feedback.
I just went in and ordered 4 wedge/sub sandwiches and told them that I have run to the td bank on the corner to get . Mind you the was 5 guys working behind the counter. I get back(I walked only 2 of my sandwich was done) the lady was working on my 3rd(just a pastrami Swiss and coleslaw that took her 10 mins to make because she measured and weigh the pastrami). As I was waiting I baught lotto and gave a 50 bill that she couldn't break. You think that they could have at least change for a 50 bill! Since I was in a rush I just said just forget about the 4th sandwich, unbelievable. The girl behind the cash register is talking on the phon with vendor or something taking forever to ring up the customer before me as we both roll our eyes on how bad the customer service is! Then I'm next to pay and mean while she has my 50 bill from earlier behind the register and she proceeds to check if it was a counterfeit bill(she could have checked earlier to see if it was fake). Long story short, this place has to pick up on the service department especially when it's not busy at all.
They have genuine imported San Marzano tomatoes with the serial numbers and everything.

Always a great experience at A&S in Port Chester. I stop by at least once a week and usually get the G Money on a seeded wedge with a container of sliced sopressata for home. The team cares and it shows.
