Sonny's Bbq - Port Charlotte

The baby back ribs here are fantastic! Our waitress, Maranda, was absolutely wonderful and had an amazing personality. I can't wait to come back and enjoy both her service and the delicious food again! Thank you for a great experience!

Sonny's always earns a star in my book. I grew up enjoying Sonny's, so I'm a bit biased. Everything is great, especially the ribs and pulled pork.

I tried their salad bar, which was fantastic with a wide variety of toppings to choose from. I also ordered their steak burgers with baked beans, and they were absolutely delicious!

So I'm not a very big person on reviews, but last night we decided to go to Sonny's for dinner. When we arrived there we sat and our waitress was her name Rachel, who served us and the service there was excellent. We were in Sonnys many times ago the service was never as good as last night. She returned the experience with sonny’s Worth. And the food was also on the spot. As I said at the beginning, I don't write reviews, but I want Sonny to know what an excellent job Rachel did with us last night. It really makes a difference when you go to a restaurant in service is so excellent that you want to thank Rachel for having caught your last name, but the service you gave us last night was amazing to see you again.

Great experience today at Sonny’s Port Charlotte! Our server, Sarli, greeted and seated us immediately and did an outstanding job with service. Prompt, polite, unobtrusive and she anticipated our needs. My husband and I both got the Pork 3 Ways and our food was hot and fresh. Ribs were perfect! The fried okra is always good and today was no exception. The restaurant was clean, staff were all wearing masks (if you care about that, which we don’t, but know many do), and seating was properly distanced. Great spot for lunch or dinner. We definitely recommend!
