Gaspy’s Cafeteria - Port Charlotte

We've been there three times, and each visit has been excellent. The Cuban sandwich, steak sandwich, and ham and cheese empanadas are all delicious, reasonably priced, and satisfying. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making it a pleasure to visit this café.

During my visit from Connecticut, I chose to support a small, local Cuban restaurant, and I’m so glad I did. Felix, the owner, welcomed us warmly and made us some delicious coffees. He also introduced us to his wife, Maria, who whipped up a couple of tasty Cuban breakfast sandwiches for us. I highly recommend this spot for breakfast, coffee, and their cheese sticks! The atmosphere is super friendly, clean, and the food is absolutely delicious!

Don’t miss out on this gem! It’s the perfect spot for coffee and Cuban snacks, and it pleasantly surprised us. They serve the cortadito and café con leche we were hoping to find. I highly recommend trying the cheese sticks! The owner, Felix, was even generous enough to prepare breakfast sandwiches for us with their delicious Cuban bread. Make sure to stop by the next time you’re in the area!
