We used to visit every two months when our ship was docked... read more This fantastic restaurant is located in one of the most beautiful spots in New Zealand, near Dunedin. We used to visit every two months when our ship was docked at Port Chalmers. The food is delicious and fresh, and I highly recommend trying the various beers they offer. The ambiance is lovely, and the weather is often great, making for a wonderful dining experience.

The food was fantastic; I started with the bitterballen, which were incredibly tasty and full of flavor. For my main course, I had the sole fillet, and it was cooked to perfection. My friend ordered the duck, which looked amazing as well. The prices were very reasonable, especially when compared to a pub meal I had later in the week that was way more expensive and not nearly as good. They offered not only craft beers but also a lovely selection of wines, which isn't always the case at craft beer places. The staff were super friendly and efficient, making the whole experience truly enjoyable. I wish I lived nearby so I could visit all the time!
