The Rail - Port Angeles

After receiving poor treatment at Bourbon West, we decided to visit The Rail for a cocktail and appetizer. To our surprise, we were met with exceptional service and hospitality from Tonya. She welcomed us warmly and made us feel at ease after our previous unpleasant experience. As a first-time visitor since they obtained a full bar, Tonya patiently explained their specialty cocktails and offered dining recommendations. I tried the figgy mule and was impressed by its delicious autumn flavor. The mac and cheese balls were a tasty appetizer. The cocktails were creative and well-crafted, setting a high standard for the downtown area. We hope to see more appetizer options on the menu and look forward to returning for another Happy Hour soon. Thank you for saving our day off!

Delicious!! That's the best way to describe our experience at this restaurant. The front of house staff was friendly and helpful. The menu and bar options were fantastic. The kids had a great time, especially enjoying the games and watching the food being prepared.

I have dined at this restaurant several times before and every dish I have tried was delicious. My favorite is the char-grilled burger with bacon, which has a great texture and a non-greasy flavor. It is a real treat. I highly recommend dining here.

We were hungry after a long drive from Portland and looking for a place close to our hotel. The Rail turned out to be perfect. Huge amounts of food. My wife and I decided to just split the Monte Cristo and tots and we were stuffed. Good food and great value.

Really great Rail burgers- perfect basic burger with super fresh and crispy fries. Will keep this in mind for the next time we’re here! Great spot to grab something while waiting for the ferry!
