Next Door Gastropub - Port Angeles

This is a beautiful place to get food in Port Angeles. We went on a Saturday night and it was definitely popular. You have a great beer list as well as cocktails and wine. The food is definitely gastropub food, but as good it is almost gourmet. The fried pickles were made in some of the best batteries I've ever had and the Elch Burger was seriously next stage good. For some reason it did not say on the menu that it came with garlicries, but that was an immense surprise. Great service, some outdoor seats with heating (closed when we were there), and many street parking places. Very recommended to everyone!

Fun, place with good beer selection, friendly service and delicious food. Husband really enjoyed his tacos. Fry portions are huge, but so good. I had the chicken apple salad that was really delicious. I wish they are listed on their menu that the walnuts in him have Cayenne on them for those of us who do not like/can not have spicy or nightly forms. Really impressed by their menu selection, we will try something new again next time!

Nice place. Some tables outside and some near the open wall (garage door). Eat well. We ordered barbecue cheese with side salad; tuna melt; blt with Avacado; and black bean burger (vegetarian). Nice selection.

A local favorite when my parents visited PA and we were a dozen times. The service can be met or miss and especially if busy, which could definitely be improved. But, we always come for the food that is delicious overall (except a bad experience where an order arrived in our group over 45 minutes after all others without explanation and the Mac n cheese had no season, this is an exception to our experiences) and they have a wide selection of beers on tap.

Wow! If you are looking for a fun place to eat in downtown Port Angeles then look no further than Next Door Gastropub! My wife and I were in town for our five year anniversary. The front desk staff at our hotel made a point to tell us that this is the best place in town. They didn’t disappoint! I had the Ron Burgundy hamburger. It’s topped with these amazing scotch and burgundy wine mushrooms. Fantastic and I would love to know what is in them. My wife also loved her crab Mac and Cheese. Nice flavor profile without being pure grease or dried out. One warning. The wait can be long. We had to wait about an hour. So be prepared if you didn’t call ahead. Well worth the wait!
