I ordered tacos for takeout and the meat was dry and flavorless. I didn't even touch the rice and beans because they didn't seem appetizing. I ended up throwing the entire plate away and opting for a bowl of dessert instead. View all feedback.
Terrible, terrible, and this business is in very bad shape.
The food is as delicious as ever, just under a new name! I'm thrilled that it's reopened and I absolutely adore the Gumbalaya dish. If you happen to pass by LA 415 on I-10, make sure to stop in - you won't be let down!
I ordered takeout tacos and found the meat to be dry and flavorless. The rice and beans didn't look appetizing so I didn't touch them. It was a waste of money as I ended up throwing the whole plate away and opting for a bowl of cereal instead.
The meat tasted terrible, the lettuce was slimy, the beans and rice had no taste. At least the soda machine works.
Wanted Gumbo on the first cool snap here in Louisiana, so drove over to the Jambalaya Pot to get Gumbo, ended up with a first timer, Gumbalaya : Gumbo served over pastalaya, i never want it with rice again. WONDERFUL MEAL
