Pic-a-pak Fried Chicken - Port Allen

The chicken is absolutely delicious—hot, fresh, and perfectly crispy. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Plus, there’s even an elevator! Mr. Landry, you really serve great food!

We ventured over the Mighty Mississippi and took the first exit from the bridge that leads straight into the heart of Port Allen. Shortly after, we stumbled upon Pic-a-Pak Fried Chicken, so we decided to give it a try. As fans of delicious dark meat, we were excited to taste what they had to offer.

Pic a Pak. This is the best roasted chicken I’ve ever had. I heard that a pact was supposed to have the best chicken, and I was skeptical since many people claim something is the best when it really isn’t. But this chicken is genuine; it’s some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever tasted. I hate to say it, but it’s even better than what my mom makes. You definitely need to give it a try. *Just a heads up, they’re closed on Sundays.
