We were 5 for dinner. It was the only place open on a monday night. Saw another group eating a typical soup, so we all ordered the soup and a second plate. 8€ for a bowl of pasta with chicken broth. We know the others paid less than we did......

A group of friends and I were walking in the hills around Porrera and Montstant with David Simms [hidden link] and he brought us to this lovely little restaurant not sure we would have found it on our own, as it is tucked away. The service could not have been more hospitable and the seven of us had plates of food to share, as we wanted to experience the type of food typical of the area. We were not disappointed 8 courses and a lovely experience. A must to try!

We really enjoyed a nice family dinner. Food was gerat. I had a great Timbal d'Escalibada with goat cheese and a good Cod Fish with hazelnut sauce. To finish, a tasty coconut mousse. Great quality price for a small town, and a very warm service by its owners.

After spending 3 hours at Parc Esportiu (fantastic) we wanted something small to eat before heading back to Barcelona. It turned into a long leisurely lunch with barbecued meats and very good chocolate coulants. Great relaxed spot. Very good food. Perfect finish of the day!

Add this out of the way spot to the incredibly divine, elegant cuisine in El Priorat. We found this spot going up tiny, steep streets, and around a corner and up an unlikely flight of stairs. We opened the door to a wooden-beamed room with small tables, white table clothes and beautiful windows looking out into vineyards and olive groves. Amazing lunch (dinner for us), with local, spectacular wine, a pile (literally) of heavenly foie gras on slices of beef carpaccio and on delicate green peas, lovely (really lovely) service, a fantastic view. Find a way to get to Porrera for this spot!
