I feel the need to submit a review when the place either sucks or rocks. In the case of Paradise Taverna, it is the latter. In general, we ate very well during our 10 days in Poros. This was the only place we returned to for a 2nd meal after being so impressed the first time. A variety of traditional homemade dishes, all very tasty, combined with excellent service in a very relaxed atmosphere, all only about a 10-min... View all feedback.
What ip zou doesn't like about Taverne Paradis:
I have no words to describe this experience!!! the toilets and the surrounding area lacked any sense of hygiene!!! Makeshift buildings and discarded agricultural tools and machines from here and there!!! The waiters were wearing dirty clothes and the climax moment when a cook from the kitchen came out into the courtyard.the clothes were so dirty I couldn't tell if it was restaurant staff or a builder/painter. I went with my wife, as we were on vacation in beautiful Poros, and after she had told me that she saw it on Dousis ' show and that it was worth it! With the arrival as a place heaven I hope it is not like this! A space made from an extension of the house with dirt below, plastic tables and shade cloths for bahtse on top. We ordered and our order came immediately because we went around 18:00 and it was not crowded. The fries, the pancakes that came with the dishes were not fried enough! The chicken fillet had all the skin on and without any marinade, a tasteless result! Toilets unacceptable from one for women (Hen) and one for men (Rooster) as a separation of men and women. Asking for the bill, they brought me the entire order block, so that I can take the order myself if necessary and when I said that I will pay by card, of course they told me that I should go to the interior, where the cashier with the pos was. Then the cashier lady came and said the phrase Are you Greeks for my apparently choosing to pay by card. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1
It’s easy enough to write a review full of superlatives. In this case though, it’s entirely warranted: the food, service and venue are amazing. We enjoyed rabbit, pork boar, seasonal vegetables. And several homemade treats including a unique and tasty liquor. Will remember this night for a long time. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Courtesy and fast service! Good food! Separate saganaki, steaks, roosters. See you again! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The waiters were wearing dirty clothes and the climax moment when a cook from the kitchen came out into the courtyard.the clothes were so dirty I couldn't tell if it was restaurant staff or a builder/painter. The horror doesn't end here while we were waiting for our plates, one of the waiters was cleaning a table behind us and he had a loud blast!!! The dishes were of very poor quality, like an old ethnic restaurant. Horror!!! I think the word HELL is appropriate for the business and the experience of the visitor!!!
