Situated in Pornichet this is a must if you like fish and seafood. Excellent moules! And the chefs recommendations Lobster dish was fantastic. We ate here a couple of times and it was always popular so I would advise getting their early to ensure a table, unless of course you pre book one. View all feedback.
What Alexandre Traore doesn't like about Bistrot du pecheur:
read the Rave reviews, so we thought it would go. for the late booking 9pm, which was probably the fault, since eating was best moderate. it was as if they couldn't wait for us to leave the...restaurant won't go back! View all feedback.
Visited here on the recommendation of the hotel receiver and it was not disappointed! we came and sat quickly, which was just as good as it was soon filled up. we ordered kirs as aperitifs while we went through the menu. many seafood choices, but we...both order moules mariner with a beautiful white wine. the maulting were very fresh and plentiful of them, delicious. sauce was just right with weeping and swirling. exactly what you wanted from this court. service was efficient and fast without being too intrusiw. a beautiful meal, service and gastronomic introduction to our holiday in the bretagne.

Our first time in the opposite and stumbled over this fine facility. the food was first class along with a very welcoming and enthusiastic waiter. nothing was too much annoyed. the oysters were excellent. haupt- und desserts all great. very reasonable prices too. the evening was very pleasant! very recommended by...our all!
We chose from the menu du jour, starting with a seafood board. it was a generous portion and absolutely delicious. I don't think I've ever had such fresh seafood. the main course was just as delicious as the dessert. our waitress (which I believe was one of the owners) was very helpful and friendly. we left the restaurant and wanted to go back to our hotel in st marguerite (about 3 and half kilometers) but decided that we were too tired to do this. I went back to the restaurant to ask the waitress if she knew where we could get a taxi and she was very friendly one for us and gave us a coffee while we waited. it was also excellent coffee! not the cheapest of restaurants, but eating was so good, we thought it was worth it, and anyway it is on the front side at pornichet. I would recommend it.
The restaurant is close to the ocean. The owner and his wife are friendly. Food is freshly caught by a local fisherman. Food tasty and fresh. The decor was very neutral. The downside was the lack of drink selection and the prices were slightly higher...to what one expects from such a place.
