I had an amazing dinner at this restaurant! The staff is wonderful and attentive. Please note that they're only open a few evenings a week, and they are closed on Mondays. Also, they only accept cash, so be sure to come prepared!
This is a fantastic local restaurant offering delicious dishes and run by wonderful owners. They open at 6 PM, and I highly recommend making a reservation since the venue is small and can fill up quickly.
Great little place to eat. pure and simple best cooked vegetables we ever had. excellent service good location. not fuss, meals plated and delecious. no basket for chips in white. good quality home cooked eating would be very recomend.
Great eating, great atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff. we had the suppe of the day, garnelen in garlauch butter, coq au vin and Sunday roast. highly recommended, the best food in porlock.
This was the first visit for my wife and I, having seen the restaurant on previous visits to North Devon and Somerset also viewed online, we decided to make a visit. We were not disappointed first class service, food cleanliness my wife's roast of the day (turkey breast) as was my Venison casserole pipping hot with 3 nice fresh vegetables, plus starter's and sweets very enjoyable every table full so need to book, on a late September evening people actually being turned away. Must return.
