The Porlock Weir

We stopped by the hotel for breakfast while hiking the coastal path, the service was superb and so was our full english breakfast! Beautiful setting and great friendly service.

3 night stay August 2022 after many disappointing coastal hotel rooms that are usually stiflingly hot and crammed, walking into the breezy fresh, light harbour view room was a delight! Recently renovated, so modern bathrooms with lots of hot water and no leaks! And as our room was ready early, we were allowed to check in early and have a delicious lunch watching the harbour. Lovely garden at the back of the hotel for residents only a perfect spot to relax under the apple trees and sip wine. Friendly, helpful staff, good food, comfortable rooms, car park across the way... It's great!

Stopped here after a walk from Porlock. Only had orange juice and lemonade but it was fresh oj and worth it. Friendly staff. Beware the wobbly tables out front.

Great place to stay, great service, terrific food, very high quality.

Only stopped for lunch, but we wanted to stay at night. great ambiente, better behave and eat even better! good the trip down the narrow windy roads to come here!
