Anna's Pizza Italian - Poquoson

Great place for takeout pizza and pasta. Really enjoyed the tortellini de Anna and the Alfredo pizza. Food tastes great with good portion sizes.

My last visit to Anna's was great . Unfortunately tonight's was dramatically different. I ordered the Veal Parmesan again. My wife got the Chicken Parmesan. My grandson got the chicken sandwich. Both chicken dishes looked like they were made with very thin, frozen patties that were overcooked. My veal patty was okay but the sauce was tasteless. I kept adding parmesan cheese to try and give it some flavor. The only thing that was as good as last time was the bread. It was wonderful. The waitress was very nice and attentive so it is difficult to be too critical of the food to her But I'm afraid it'll be a long time before I risk Annas is again.

Only giving three stars not because the food is bad or that the service is bad. This place isn't my go to place for pizza. The pizza isn't bad and the subs are above average. The times I have been here it's been enjoyable. I should go more often

I tried Anna's after living here for years because I'm always hearing they have great food. I Took my family and the kids got burgers, I got a meatball sub and chicken Alfredo. The sub was just ok.. Chicken Alfredo was horrible, chicken was overcooked, I have had better Alfredo sauce out of a jar. The burgers came on sub buns because apparently they ran out of hamburger buns. I have to say I was very let down overall. The service was great however our server was wonderful! Pricing was a little high for the quality of food. I am one to go back if I get a response on my post and give it a second chance I would definitely change my rating. Full disclosure I run Marco's Pizza but that in no way affects my ratings. I absolutely loved Mama Mia and was very disappointed to see them close up. We all only get better by hearing the truths.

Best pizza around and friendly staff! They have other things too...great Italian subs and full offering of Italian meals. Just s great place to eat.
