Beautiful hotel with a very good and varied breakfast buffet. Rooms are cozy. the personal is exceptionally friendly and attentive. the house is very dog-friendly, therefore also visited by dogs. Dogs can even be in parts of the restaurant and have a station at the entrance with food, water and personal towel.

Nevertheless, this was our first encounter with what kitchen and confectionery must offer. I can summarize it briefly: with bravour bestnaden! The house has an ozone bath as well as a sauna area. and as we were in poppenhausen, we did not find time to visit these facilities.... erm, poppenhausen is just a few hundred meters away from Germany's aerial mountain, the water doll away. as often as he was here. the first day gradually inclined, after a walk in the vicinity, to the end. a sunset from beautiful art enchanted the landscape and dipped the Rhodes into a warm, almost ineffective light. with an excellent dinner ends our first day in rhön garden. the official part of the excursions are very good of this considerate central point. there are many interesting things to discover and explore. or simply enjoy the wonderful nature of the high rhön. Whether as hikers or with sticks, as cyclists on partly separate routes or for the cultural fan – all come at their expense and the hotel is a predestined accommodation. also hikers and bikers are welcome. other days we expect a rich breakfast buffet. there is really nothing missing. whether salmon, sausage and cheese selection, honey and some varieties of marmalades, fresh fruit from the region and exotic, at least 10 different juices, eggs in usual variations or also freshly prepared – á la minute, not to speak from broth variants and rolls. or how about muesli, yogurt or cucumber dishes. what heart desires and spoils palate. the hard chefin offers a continuous push from the first is to the last. with a safe view, it recognizes the need and is already back with freshly filled bowls or trays during filling or supplement. the service is extremely friendly and particularly attentive. not intrusive. it is often enough to have a visual contact and the good spirits take care of the desire of the guests. This is perfection, as I know it in part only from 5 stars houses. it is really indifferent to which you speak. whether in the early morning from 7:00 to 11:00 until afternoon or again in the big evening buffet, which leaves no wish open. We have been able to get to know a hotel where you pay full attention to the guests, dogs like to see, with an ambience that simply conveys feelings, even if the weather does not play so much outside – you are in poppenhausen. three days – much too fast and that feels like when you feel comfortable all around. our hosts, family ochs, we thank you for wonderful days, varied meals and excellent service. like them, you make masters of men!
