Pretty restaraunt in central location. Ordered pizza which was ok but nothing special. However spent the evening here as one of the few places that served wine in the area which was very nice View all feedback.

Did not have pasta or pizza, which seem to be the best dishes. Ordered a bottle of white wine that was not very good and rather expensive. Ordered a Milanese but it was just so-so. Declined the salad. Possibly the owner spoke with us as she heard my English. Nice lady but the food was a miss. Restaurant is very small and a bit loud. On Calle 4 a few blocks from the main square.
I am giving this review a 5 star setting along with an "excellent" heading ( very rare for me), but this review is for lunch only, as I have not done dinner here as yet.I have now been in Colombia for 4 months, and have experienced many "menu of the day" lunches, and many of them have been very economical and good,While in Popayan, we decided to head to Italiano for lunch, totally unaware of any offers, or a menu of the day. On arrival, I opted for the menu of the day, while my lunch partner went for the spaghetti and shrimp/cammerones.The menu of the day was $11,000 COP (around $4 US), and was unbelievable. I began with a great Italian Wedding soup followed by chicken Milanese, with garlic bread and salad. It was magnificent! The taste, the service, everything about it could not be faulted!!!My partner splurged for the spaghetti and shrimp at $32,000 COP, and got served more than enough for 2. The spaghetti was cooked perfectly, and there were more shrimp/cammerones than you could ask for. You truly could have shared this dish, and both been very happy. I have got a little demanding in my old age and requested multiple items from my waitress, but she accommodated me with everything, along with a huge smile.I strongly recommend that when in Popayan, you give this place a try. I am extremely confident that you will not be disappointed.
We came for lunch but I would also try dinner here. The pasta is excellent and the service is equally good.
