The service at this restaurant was excellent! I was warmly greeted and felt very welcome. I ordered a burgermelt, fries, and a mint chocolate milkshake. What Lynn Martin doesn't like about Wayback Burgers:
I was disappointed with the burgers at this restaurant. The bread is not toasted, which makes the burger feel soggy. However, the onion rings were delicious. The prices are on the high side. View all feedback.
The service at this restaurant was excellent! I was warmly greeted and felt very welcome. I ordered a burgermelt, fries, and a mint chocolate milkshake. Even though I didn't need it, my taste buds and stomach were very happy with my choice! The atmosphere reminds me of the show "Happy Days," just missing the jukebox. I will definitely return when I am on vacation. The food was fresh, there is free parking shared with other restaurants, and it was very clean with great reviews. I only spent $18, including a tip for the respectful waiter/cashier who can be seen smiling in the last photo.
I am extremely disappointed with the flavor of this visually appealing burger! The ambiance was simple, and the customer service from the young staff member was excellent. However, this burger was the most tasteless and basic burger I have ever had! We are in the South - please season your meat! The fried pickles were subpar, and the supposed apple shake tasted like it was just vanilla with small pieces of apple. Where is the caramel? The apple pie filling? The crumbles? You need to improve! I hope you take my advice, because honestly, this restaurant may not survive. However, it has the potential to thrive with some adjustments.
The burgers were bland and small, and the staff seemed unhappy. The only positive aspect was the delicious onion rings, of which I received a generous portion.
Tried ALL day to order for pickup online, would not work would give me several different closing times, so I called the store (Pooler/Tanger Outlets location), the lady who answered said they closed at 5pm). Since I never got the online order for pickup to work, I left my job early at 4pm, and arrived at 4:15 pm only to find the doors locked, lights off, and a young guy mopping floors inside, looking thru doors and able to see this. I knocked on the door since it was well before 5pm closing, (which also was posted on door). The guy looked over his shoulder at me, and walked back towards the kitchen..... ?! VERY bad service, and I love Wayback burgers food, what a shame.
Food was great, cooked to order so be prepared to wait. Prices were really steep I thought for a burger. I got a double cheeseburger with bacon, fries and a drink and it cost $15.32.
