I absolutely love how this food truck elevates the classic grilled cheese to a whole new level. They offer great recommendations as well as the option to create your own unique grilled cheese. During my visit, I noticed a customer who approached and said he couldn't eat carbs, but the aroma was so tempting. The employee kindly suggested making him a sandwich using eggs instead of bread. She whipped up his sandwich, and he left with a big smile on his face. All the sandwiches I tasted were amazing. This time, I tried the Havana grilled cheese, and it was fabulous! Plus, the staff always serves with a smile. You have to try THE BIG CHEESE!

I had the Boom while the truck was in Savannah, and it was fantastic! My mother also ordered the ****, and she loved it. The sandwiches were beautifully crisp, and the cheese was perfectly melted! I would definitely eat here again.

The tomato soup ($4) was tasteless, just pureed tomatoes with what looked like basil flakes. It didn’t have any other seasoning. Plus, the portion was tiny, served in a small cup that was only two-thirds full. My husband had nothing good to say about his sandwich, either. I recommend they visit Soho downtown to try some excellent grilled cheese and tomato soup, which would teach them how to add tomato slices without making the sandwich soggy. If you’re running a “gourmet” grilled cheese cart and charging $14 for a grilled cheese and tomato soup, your food should be significantly better than what I can prepare at home with minimal effort. The other food trucks I tried at Starland Yard were fantastic, especially Loki! This one just didn’t meet my expectations.
