Mellow Mushroom Pooler

I’ve been told how wonderful mellow mushroom is, every year after the championship soccer the team has come to mellow mushroom. Well this year brand new to the team we were excited to go. Only to find out even with a whole section open they wouldn’t seat us, told us to wait an hour for the patio. Even though there was enough seating in the building. When we said we’d just sit as families is there any way to make it work. The manager told us with the most disgusting disrespectful tone I’ve heard in customer service to go somewhere else. We understood they didn’t have enough staff but they weren’t busy. Had plenty of room and we would have been willing to be patient and wait. However the rudeness that we were shown was uncalled for and I will not be going to this restaurant ever! I will inform everyone I know to go somewhere else. With rudeness like this in customer service, I imagine the only reason this place is open is because of its name.

I was shocked. We stopped here while on a business trip and the Greek salad was super fresh and had a lot of topping as well, and the pepperoni pizza was outstanding. I'll be back next time I'm in Savannah.

Waitress was training someone so was not focused on our order. 8 year old in our group and she forgot to put in his order. Had to ask several times for my drink. She shouldn’t be training anyone.

I work In the food industry so I try to be very understanding and patient. I assume maybe our server was busy or we were placed outside a section? But we were just completely ignored like a table that sat after us near us the closest table was served before us we sat for 15-20 minutes no one said anything to us. Things happen I understand but it’s not hard to approach a table and say something, anything, even if it is oh let me get your server

Hunter was an amazing waiter we will be returning thank you ! The food was amazing and so was the service.
