Went for a birthday meal..once shown to our table we waited for about 20 mins before we had to go in search of someone to take our drinks order..the waitress wa... read more Went for a birthday meal..once shown to our table we waited for about 20 mins before we had to go in search of someone to take our drinks order..the waitress was sent and our order taken. Again we waited another 20 plus minutes for our drinks and these were only delivered once we had asked where they were. Finally our order was taken for the carvery..the waitress was obviously busy with, as she put it, a big table that she was also dealing with! We had no visits to the table asking if we were alright or if we had everything we wanted. After our meal we waited again for our dirty plates to be cleared..we had to seek the waitress out again to ask for our deserts and these were brought to the table when our dirty plates were still in situ..we had to point this out and she said she would clear them..she was very lacking in customer care. First visit to this place..service and food very disappointing

The food was fresh, hot, and bursting... read more My partner and I visited this restaurant a few days ago and we both agreed that it was the best meal we've had in months. The food was fresh, hot, and bursting with flavor. The vegetables were perfectly cooked, full of taste, and the meat was juicy. The service we received was excellent, with friendly and pleasant staff. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Poole.
