Lovely staff, great service, a pool table which is only ever busy at weekends, jukebox (with a surprisingly wide and varied selection of music! , dartboard, beer garden and great food I eat lunch there often. Highly recommend the Hunters Chicken Melt Baguette! Has been my local a few years now (since the Seaview got turned into a Co op… and has everything you could want from a proper pub. I walked into pub and got thrown out because someone had called the Victoria saying I'd been sat with someone who tested positive for covid. Unknowingly I stayed in for 3 days then got told about Covid. I got tested which was negative. Had I self isolated the day I went into the Victoria was day 11. So out of order. Lovely, friendly, family run pub. Food is lovely and good value. Also quite a bit of entertainment throughout the week. It is nice to have 'a local ' near to home (becoming a rarity). Great for lunch if you are on your own or with friends.

Great place to visit. Very clean. Great beer garden. The staff are lovely and friendly. Drink prices are very reasonable too. Look forward to my next visit.
