Fried octopus, just for the fun of it, two swordfish tagliolini dishes that were nothing short of sumptuous, and then the mixed roast consisting of swordfish and amberjack steaks, squid, scampi, and two melt-in-the-mouth red shrimp. A delicious sautéed escarole, and the icing on the cake, the ricotta and fig jam tart. We ordered two for Saturday evening, when we return to this restaurant which, after three years of coming to Ponza, I consider the best, in terms of quality and preparation, of the island's restaurants. The dishes are fresh, simple, and full of flavor—ideal for lovers of traditional Italian cuisine. I simply had to try the octopus salad and was not disappointed. The main courses were very good. The fig-based cheesecake perfectly rounds off the culinary experience. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, and the staff provides a warm welcome. A place where you feel at home and can enjoy authentic Ponza cuisine.
