Althou... read more I have visited around 4 KFC locations in my 23 years of living, and none of them compare to Pontypool! The staff was very friendly and served me quickly. Although the Colonel's chicken meal was a bit bland, I still enjoyed the rest of my food. The staff appeared to be working hard and do not deserve ungrateful people leaving negative reviews. The customer service was exceptional and the food was fantastic.

Closet KFC to me so have been quite a bit. Food is nice but my god are they slow. Quickest option if quiet is to go through the drive through but if that's busy, you could well die of old age. Last trip was ridiculous however. Waited half hour inside without even getting served. When questioned was told didn't have enough staff. No apology or to even attempt to serve the long line of waiting customers, the 2 people out front were too busy putting together 6 or 7 delivery drivers orders. Plenty of staff hanging around doing nothing however. Gave up in end, probably won't return.

When I got out of my car, I was hit with a strong sewage smell and found myself standing in a large puddle of sewage. Make of that what you will.

Just visited this branch absolutely shocked at the service the food!!! How KFC have not closed this branch down is beyond me. What a disgrace to KFC!!! We have been to many KFC’s this is by far the worst!!!! Staff have attitude are not friendly in the slightest. Greeted with a horrible smell on entering the restaurant. Didn’t feel or look very clean in there either. The chicken bites were rock hard so dry not like we’ve had from other branches. These were awful! The mega box was a tiny portion hardly any chips. The chicken piece was so tiny. The hot wing wasn’t cooked enough so inedible. Avoid this branch at ALL costs!!!!!

The staff that served me were Tommy, Seren, and Ethen... all 3 gave customer service I came here 3 months ago and the sevice was extremely excellent then...as it was again tonight.. The staff are always polite and friendly and are always helpful...(as im useless at ordering, so thank you for your patience, Tommy. ..also, for the hot sauce, that was very thoughtful of you, Tommy. My hubby was very happy for a change. Ha ha ! We will definitely be back in a few months. You are all a credit to KFC

All but one of the tables was covered in food particles and grease. The staff’s uniforms looked as if they had been wearing them all week. The chicken was lukewarm and we left most of it to be on the safe side. Used to be OK here, but really gone downhill. Only one other customer at a peak time which speaks volumes.
