eating was cold, small portions and very expensive for what we had. my £25 filet steak meal, although tasty was small and cold. my daughter had a burger and chips from the adult menu at £13.50, but it was more like a child portioning. all in all no great experience for my daughter birthday and I will not visit again. I went for lunch in this pub for my birthday with three of my friends. We were not in any hurry and had a very enjoyable meal. There only appeared to be two members of staff serving and in a very busy restaurant and serving at the bar they did an excellent job . As we were not in any hurry it suited us and to be fair the two people serving did very well. I have been to this pub on quite a few occasions and always enjoyed the food
Disappointed with the interior, looked tired, dirty carpet. Pub food, which wasn't very good, at restaurant prices.
Nice surroundings, nice food, good service. Would make a return visit.
