What Martani Mandala doesn't like about A Hin Chai Kue Panas Siam:
One of the local halal food. If you're in Pontianak and you want to try some local delicacies such Choi Pan, Fried Rice, Ko Kue, and others, then you can give a try to this one. Their Choi Pan isn't the best of the town, but still proper to have some. Served while it hot. The seafood kwetiaw isn't the best at all, I don't recommend it. Their Petai Fried Rice is okay. The price is average. View all feedback.
Humble food for Choi-Pfanne or Choi-Kue. Choi Kue is delicious, along with kulit tahu. Condiments consist of watery (but very spicy) chili-sause. One with Blachan/Terasi and the other is not.
As the store name mentions, it is famous mainly because of the Chai Kue, a snack that can be either steam or friend, and is stuff with chives or Yam bean.
I love the Chai Kwe (pumps), they are available in various fillings and shapes. You can choose fried or steam. I personally prefer the steamers.
Nice place for snacks and drinks especially when the temperature at Pontianak is soaring high. Everything is freshly made, and superb cheap. No complaints or such.
The restaurant is spacious and got a lot of tables. Perfect place to hangout with friends/family. Taste wise, i’ll give it /5 service is meh. PS: 100% halal
