Caffe Al Santuario - PONTEBBA

Tourists, intent on stopping in Pontebba for a drink or a meal, drive into Pontebba from the main thoroughfare SS13 and follow the main road through Pontebba center. On that main route, at the main square (Piazza Dante Alighieri) several watering places can be found. Because of this, sometimes the outdoor seating areas of these bars are taken over by crowds of touring cyclists or bikers. Bar Caffè Al Santuario is off the beaten track in Pontebba and is mainly visited by locals. It is the favorite of the civil servants, working in nearby City Hall. Always plenty of room to sit down with a cappuccino, a latte or something stronger, supported by a delicious Italian sandwich. Service at the bar by the waitress is cheery, pleasant and also typical hospitable Italian. Prices are very reasonable. The back door opens on the Piazza Guiseppe Garibaldi, (opposite City Hall) where ample parking can be found.
