Contribute FeedbackIf you ever go to Ponte de Lima look out for this restaurant. You’ll find very good food served by friendly and efficient staff. Try arroz de sarrabulho if you want to experience one of the most traditional dishes from Ponte de Lima. And the price-quality balance is much better than in other restaurants by the river.
The decor is old but traditional. Nevertheless, the food more than made up for this. We ordered the arroz de marisco and the costeletão de novilho. Very tasty! I highly recommend this restaurant! A decoração é velha mas tradicional. A comida mais que compensa por isto. Comida a bom preços e saborosa. Recomendo!
We were looking for another restaurant entirely, stumbled upon this one and somehow got sucked in as all of the people eating there appeared to be locals. Don’t be put off by the slightly tatty exterior......go in and be delighted by the traditional style of decor. The staff, who hardly spoke any English, were very helpful and friendly. We opted for the set menu.....at the astonishing €6 a head.....including wine! The portions were HUGE, and very tasty. Soup to start, and we both chose the pork as main.....I don’t honestly know how they can serve up the stonking meal for that price. Two very large slices of pork, chips, rice and salad.......half a carafe of wine each and coffee. Not haute cuisine, but simple, honest grub. There is also a full menu on offer. We were very well looked after......a total pleasure.
