What Ricardo Pinto doesn't like about Restaurante Escondidinho:
4 of us for lunch, tables outside busy so we waited a few minutes for a table upstairs. Waitress was friendly but service was very slow and they didn't deliver one of our dishes we think it went to another table by mistake. There...was a large family party sitting nearby so perhaps the kitchen couldn't manage lots of orders at the same time. The food we got was delicious and well cooked, but our bill did list the dish we never got. We paid for what we had eaten and left. What Davi Castro likes about Restaurante Escondidinho:
if they really want to eat like (and with the locals, this is a great place. it is very on earth, so they don't come if they don't think open. what they get is basic home cooking, North Portuguese style: lever and swirl, moellas ( chicken pizzas in...a mild curry sauce great! , pork, etc. most dishes can be ordered 'ke prato' (on the plate as full lunch, or 'ke pão ' (in a bungalow, as sandwich. probably not the plac...
