I and Wifey stopped in here on a Sunday night and we were pleasantly surprised.. the soup was thick and tasty and our main courses of beef and turkey were both very tasty and we enjoyed them very much.. When the bill came it was reasonable and the service was prompt and courteous.. with a little bit of Portuguese language teaching thrown in for free.. We will go here again when we return to this beautiful town.. View all feedback.

We went looking for the highest-ranked local restaurant only to find it closed for the holidays. Hungry and tired, this one was just down the street and had plenty of room for us. Where to start? The cod sandwich was a piece of bony deep-fried cod on a bun. What fish could be pulled from the hard fried casing was tasteless and unappealing. The mista salad was almost all tomato and the cod filet was drenched in olive... View all feedback.
Reasonably priced, this restaurant is a good example of a typical Portuguese eatery. The food is basic; you have to accept dried salt-fish bacalau (cod) is a staple here. Portions were reasonable size. It's in a decent location. Don't come here expecting haute cuisine. The sausage was interesting and tasty.

The cod sandwich was a piece of bony deep-fried cod on a bun. What fish could be pulled from the hard fried casing was tasteless and unappealing. The mista salad was almost all tomato and the cod filet was drenched in olive oil, probably to soften it from the frying. This might've been the worst meal we've had in Portugal.
