Lindoverde - Ponte Da Barca

Highly recommended. Very nice and attentive staff with very tasty food and a great value for money. We loved the codfish. With a good parking lot, is highly recommended for whoever is visiting Lindoso or just passing by.

If you are on the road, please stop. Great quality, warm welcome and nice price. Hotel in the second floor if you drink too much. Very good choice.

Eating at Lindoverde is just an incredible experience. The food is affordable and delicious, the staff is friendly and attentive and there are amazing breath taking views of the Peneda-Gerês National Park. What else can you ask for?! We had a great family Sunday lunch. Definitely a place to come and enjoy quality time. We recommend you try Bacalhau com Broa (cod with a corn bread crust) and for dessert Delícia da Casa (the restaurant 's special dessert). We will surely come back.

We arrived at 19.30, they opened the restaurant lights for us and told us to sit where we liked. There was about 6 tables which were reserved. Service was friendly, but the time to get our food was very slow despite being the only diners for over 1 hour. One of the reserved tables of 6 people came and they got their food before I did. We were a party of 3 and they served 2 of the portions and I had to wait 10 mins before mines came which was after the party of 6. I ordered the Lindoverde style steak which was extremely strange. Steak with a slice of ham and chees and a fried egg on top with a very salty creamy sauce. Meat was tough and fatty. The others had lamb which was very nice and the pork was also nice. Like the food in the region, it came with chips and rice and tiny portion of cabbage. By the time we left, there was still only us and the other party, not too sure why the other tables were still reserved. I do not recommend this place and I wished we had driven to Soajo which is where we had our amazing meal. For the time we waited here, we would have had eaten and driven back to Lindoso which we had done 2 nights previously.
