Tixico - Ponta Delgada

We were staying at the Octant Hotel located behind Tixico restaurant, and were told at hotel reception about this restaurant. Went for 3 different meals, tried mainly fish, food and service were consistently great quality.

Great food at a great price in a great restaurant! We went here twice and the staff were so friendly. Very relaxed atmosphere which is perfect for evenings after long days of activities. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to try some local fresh fish and beef dishes.

I recommend this restaurant. The menu is only local rates. The food is amazing. The price too! I had small squids in garlic sauce, all made from scratches with the exquisite ingredients delicately prepared. Even the potatoes were amazing!

Not sure about other dishes, but we had their 28€ seafood stew. Amazing. FULL taste. I had something similar in a chic restaurant in Porto and it wasn't almost that good.
