Superprato - Ponta Delgada

Amazing service – our waiter was diligent, friendly and always helpful. We had the grilled squid, bloodworm with pineapple and a steak. All three beat it out of the park. The food was fresh. The restaurant was clean. I don't see any reasons to come here regularly.

A nice and simple restaurant with a very good selection of dishes. We went once and because we really liked it, we tried again! We recommand the fresh fetters of the day and the lulas. The service is very friendly. It is NOT a fast food restaurant so ready to wait a little while drinking a selection of local wine or having a fresh beer! A good place for sure! The boss speaks French and English.

I feel like every single tourist in Ponta Delgada goes to the same crowded places, but fortunately there are a few restaurants like Super Prato that not only have space, but very tasty and not so famous food! We went to lunch and had a whole feast. Ricardo, the most friendly waiter on the island, recommended us her fresh fish and it was really an amazing bocanegra that we will never forget! The morcela con ananás and the lapas were also super tasty and so was the dessert called bolo de bolacha so typical of Azores and sooo delicious in this restaurant. If we ever go back, we will definitely check Super Prato!

Big little jewel in the center of Ponta. Do not expect there is a chic food, but the food is fresh, the host is very attentive and the prices are reasonable. Coming from Spain I was surprised by the grilled Calamari (lulas grelhadas), which I can only compare with the fresh quality of Andalucía!

Excellent little typical restaurant. Not the crowded onesof the main square but has very good food and super nice staff !
