What N doesn't like about Restaurante Super Prato:
During our stay in Ponta Delgada, we looked for a nearby restaurant with cheap food and quck service. Super Prato met both requirements. There was not a big choice, but the food was good. View all feedback.

We had wonderful fish (swordfish and bocas negra) ultra fresh and also a delicious starter (black sausage with pineapple). I strongly recommend the place (the owner offered a little cake for the coffee and was very kind and efficient)
Amazing fresh fish for two! Such a nice family place! Super nice people, casual atmosphere. Would go again!
While staying in Ponta Delgada we went here for dinner 3 times with large groups. They were accommodating with our large group, super attentive to our needs, and everyone LOVED their food! Highly recommend the seafood rice and the seafood cataplana (not sure the spelling). Prices were reasonable and the location was a short walk from the downtown area. We will definitely be back!
Let's put it this way--the food is edible, the ambience is nice, the price is average. The one redeeming factor is the owner/ manager is effusively hospitable.
