Small hole in the wall type restaurant with a home cooking sensibility. White board menu included lots of fish. We had the stewed octopus and grilled tuna both excellent! Bread and local cheese served as a starter. Very friendly wait staff; helped us practice our Portuguese. Bill came to 25€ which included main courses, wine, coffees, dessert (locally grown pineapple delicious!!! sparkling waters. Can’t be beat.

We had lunch here. After we had ordered, the waiter asked if we wanted to try the local cheese putting 2 tiny slices of cheese on the table. My husband said no thank you, but to be polite, I tasted it. When the bill came 6 Euros for the cheese! I felt cheated and when I complained, the manager just shrugged. Such a shame to rip off tourists.

We had lunch together this afternoon (May,2202). Everything was OK. Nothing is special. The restaurant is located in the city center of Ponta Delgada. Cons: 1. The lady took so much time to attend the customers. 2. I asked a chili sauce but she did not give me until I finish my food. 3. No single note after we paid since we wanted to know the price of things we have eaten. Pros: 1. We ordered grilled sardinhas and polvo. Both food was OK. The food was tasty. 2. I asked to substitute my boiled potatoes to fried potatoes, and the lady allowed me. 3. The portion is small but quite enough full for our belly. The platting is simple. 4. They have indoor and outdoor seating. 5. We ordered kima maracujá for our drinks and it is good. 6. Entrance accessible for wheelchair. 7. Wifi accessible inside the restaurant and free. 8. Free restroom. 9. The location is near the church in Ponta Delgada. 10. The lady speaks well English.

É um local bom para uma refeição de gastronomia local a um preço razoável , bem confecionado em termos gerais . O ambiente é muito de residentes . Espaço tem área de café e de restaurante , sendo bastante pequeno , mas suficiente . Quando está bom tempo tem esplanada exterior em frente à igreja matriz . Vale a pena

A comida era boa, com porções agradáveis, um pouco lenta na obtenção de alimentos e bebidas. Esteja ciente de que você receberá uma grande porção de entradas que você pode não ter pedido ou que estão com seu pedido e você será cobrado por elas, o que aumentará muito sua conta. Deveríamos ter sabido melhor e recusado.
