That is, in the center of the village is this small restaurant that is not expensive, small, nice, well served and traditional. You can try homemade and traditional food from the region and the country: the escargots to the bourguignonne, the Pato or the faisán asado etc. Test the snacks we don't talk about tapas. What Adrien Caron doesn't like about Auberge des Dominicaines:
It was getting late and we needed a place to have dinner. We crossed Pont l'Eveque, saw this place and decided to stop. The restaurant has two dining areas, and we were seated in the ugly one, but - for a change in France - the table was spacious. The service was fast and attentive, our waitress kind and available. The food was not memorable, but it was tasty and flavoury. Their bread is a definite plus: not the stan... View all feedback.
In other words, in the center of the village is this small restaurant that is not expensive, small, well served and traditional. you can try traditional homemade food from the region and the country: the escargots to the bourguignonne, the duck or the faisán roast etc. try the snacks that we do not talk about tapas. We stopped here for a lovely dinner whilst staying nearby. Delicious beef bourguignon washed down with red wine. Gorgeous food and service with a smile. Really enjoyed it. Lots of locals dining too which was great to see. Thank you for a perfect evening.
My wife and I stopped in for lunch. Despite my wife being lactose intolerant, the proprietor offered suggestions on the menu. The food was delicious, especially the local dishes. Frogs legs and piglet in an apple and calvados stew - amazing! And the bread just kept coming!
A place where the locals meet, good service, no junk food. i warmly recommend for the ones who want a traditional french meal
Rare warm day in Normandy and there were no seats outside, no problem they accommodated us inside with a cold beer and within 15 mins we were outside. Starters of tartre of salmon for my other half and foie gras for me, perfect wine with a main dish of entrecôte beef and lamb ribs. All finished off with apple pie and profiteroles. Try this restaurant, tasty French cuisine and at a reasonable price.
