Belle endroit qui mérite une halte , cette placé en bords de route mais le choix n'est pas vraiment dans ce village . Bel accueil et chaleureux, bon choix de bières et bon restaurant, patron sympa . À bientôt View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Le Picard:
This is a classical tourist trap restaurant. Certainly not cheap, it does not meet standards of similar places. Every dish seems to be served with the same uninspired salad side dish. One contained even foul leaves. When I eat in a pub style restaurant I...do not exspect a pretend-to-be-gourmet plate with pieces of meat, literally two noodles and potatoes as main course. In a pub you would expect at least to get a bi... View all feedback.
We parked right in front of the main street, saw us the fabulous view from the proximity of the bridge and then the stow was terrible through the village. it was hot, very hot and as we had to get back from the room on the road, it was clear that a cold beer and a waiting was the right step. I usually don't value bars when we had only one drink, but I felt compelled to mention this, as the sociality of the patron was great. we liked to discuss how “Tracht” was the afternoon and how it was hardly anyone. two perfect ice-cold beer later the traffic had dropped and we were on the way. I notice that this place is eating and the entire impression was from a well-guided flawless and welcoming hostel. we have listed it for food when we pass on to this wise.
What a wonderful evening we just had at Le Picard! My husband, daughter and I went here for dinner tonight, and it was wonderful. The food was delicious! As was the beer! And the service was very special. We typically drink wine; this restaurant has...125 beers, so we figured that we had to go with the beer. My first beer was good, but I left my second beer choice to the owner's discretion....something that would go well with my trout. He nailed it....it was perfect. My husband was having a different fish, so we asked our server (Roman) to pick out a beer for him. He nailed it too! Perfect beer pairings! The presentation of the food was beautiful. If you do not speak French, no worries. The owner speaks English and is very helpful with translating ingredients that are on the menu. All in all, a fantastic meal and a very pleasant atmosphere! Highly recommend!
We spent a great evening in the bar with the owner who has travelled the world in a previous life and speaks fluent English. The place has a menu of over 320 beers, predominantly Belgian or German in style and the bar is incredibly friendly....Obviously they do other drinks too but you wont need them as there is a beer for every lady or gent!! The owner also has a shop in a nearby village specialising in strong beers. What a suprise to discover! A really memorable overnight stay that made our holiday.
Restaurant le picard is a hidden gem in the vercors. the dishes are prepared according to high standards by a creative artist in the kitchen. prices are not low, but the quality of food allows it. bonus: next to the restaurant there is. a Belgian beer pub. super bonus: from the terrace you can have a look at the vercors mountains and if they have luck (as we were) to see mouflons they roast. the service is excellent!
Excellent bar, de nombreux choix et du personnel compétent pour vous conseiller suivant vos goût. Je vous le conseil fortement.
