We were trying to save a few dollars by staying in a cheaper hotel. We didn't last two hours, we were all itchy! The beds were infested with bedbugs!! There were tiny ones and a couple large ones, we got out of there within minutes! We left our luggage in our truck and will be washing all our clothing and throwing away our luggage. Stayed for a weekend, price was very reasonable (we're on a tight budget) and the owners were very friendly. Great Chinese restaurant with a buffet, girlfriend got some hot and sour soup which was some of the best I've ever had while I had a tasty deluxe mushroom burger. We were very concerned by the last review but luckily, no sign of any bugs in our suite (made sure to check under the covers before committing). Everything was clean (though some of the furniture was aged) and we had a great stay. Only issue was that the lounge was a bit on the quiet side though the beer was pretty cheap! Would definitely recommend!
Basque style food done right! I recommend the Escargot Basque Casserole Dish 9,50€, Veal Escalope 16,50€ and Ajualerro 14,50€.
I recently came across a review of Riverside Motor Inn and was initially hesitant to stay at this motel. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is a very modest, quiet, and affordable hotel. While it may not be as luxurious as a Fairmont or Hilton, it is perfect for a short stay at a reasonable price. The restaurant is great, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I was concerned about a previous review mentioning bed bugs, but I am happy to report that this was not the case during my visit. The hotel has passed security and pest inspections with flying colors. It seems that the individual who mentioned bed bugs was mistaken and likely had a negative experience for unknown reasons. I can confidently recommend Riverside Motor Inn for a clean and budget-friendly stay without any worries.
