A&W - Ponoka

A&W in ponoka was a great place to stop for a burger and fries, there is A lot of space to park our truck and holiday trailer unit, and fuel pumps are not far from the restraunt either

Four of us were meeting for `coffee` at our local A&W....none of us got good customer service! (we all ordered separately). In fact, the last in our group came in while the 3rd persons order was being made, and then a male customer came in the store. NEITHER one of them got served at the counter. The employee (Cecil) seemed more interested in serving the customers coming thru the drive-thru....the man got tired of waiting and left....my friend got tired of waiting and came and sat down, empty-handed. About 5 minutes later, the employee came over to the table to see if my friend wanted to order. No thanks. Also, while we were there, the fire safety company came to check on the restaurants fire extinguishers etc. The same employee and the technician had a very loud conversation in front of us about the fact that the fire extinguisher on the premises was outdated!!! From 2010 or 2011 - regardless, that shows me a lack of care on the part of owners and managers. Makes me wonder what other stuff is less than important to them. Oh, did I mention my onion rings were only lukewarm??? Don`t think I will be back.

Always get the Teen Burger Meal, always made the same, always really good, they are really quick, food is hot, Root Beer is Cold

What you'd expect from this fast food chain. Nothing spectacular nothing out of the ordinary but...i do enjoy their fresh breakfast over other fast food joints.

Great for a snack after rodeo. Clean with fast service. Connected to hotel and lots of parking. Could use a wider salad selection.
