Has been eating several times in Punjabi Dhaba in Auroville. If you're North Indians, feel at home. Wonderful options for vegetarians too. The taste is great! People here are nice. Don't forget to try Lassi that I was addicted. The best of Karan bhai and family.

When surrounded by French and Italian food all atound and you crave the desi food this is a go to place. A small but cozy tiner which offers a wide variety of menu. The parathas are simply yum and you'll end up having more than you intended too. I tried their alloo paneer and the rich creamy buttery gravy is just what you need after your tired day of wandering around. And they keep various antique ornaments so if you're fan of antique bangles and earrings what better way of waiting for your food than shopping!!

Food is good, only thing is we got one fried grasshopper in the paneer curry. The owner was rude and should understand how to behave with the customers. Its better to order from this place as if you go for dine in, then the person would definitely say, it is not for available today's menu. He charged us for all items even we didn't eat anything.
