Ho Daddy O's Surf Cream - Ponce Inlet

This is a fantastic spot right by the beach. We ordered a chocolate milkshake and a banana split, and I have to say, the milkshake was the best I've ever had. They use Bluebell ice cream, which really makes a difference!

I noticed the owner wasn't pleased with my 4 out of 5-star rating, so I want to address that and explain the missing star. First, on multiple visits, I found the seating areas to be filthy and sticky with melted ice cream and other unknown messes. Second, while I appreciate your popularity and I truly support your business, I've experienced long waits due to the limited number of staff working during peak times. There have even been instances where we chose not to go at all because the wait just didn't seem worth it. Lastly, perhaps our experiences are influenced by having visited all 50 states and often seeking out dedicated ice cream shops. Based on those many experiences, I must say your establishment doesn't quite reach the 5-star level.

In addition to their delicious ice cream, shakes, and arctic curls, we have a family tradition of stopping for ice cream every time we visit the beach before heading home. Unfortunately, I left my wallet behind this time, and while it was frustrating to drive over an hour just to retrieve it, I'm really grateful for their honesty and how they kept it safe for me. Thank you! You can count on me as a lifelong customer.

Ice cream was very good, but I have to warn that the cookie monster flavor literally turned my poop the bright blue color of the ice cream :o

Please turn down the music and bass when you bring in the DJ equipment. I live pretty close and I can hear the bass in my condo with the door closed and the TV on. It is worse in the bedroom as the windows do not keep out the noise as well as the door. Please. Owner said they would make some adjustments. Thank you!
