This restaurant has an amazing variety of gelato and Italian ice cream. The family who owns it was there every night we visited, and they were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were down-to-earth and easy to talk to. The highlight was definitely the Italian ice, which we couldn't get enough of - we ended up coming back three times in just four nights. This place in New York has the best ice cream and Italian ice in town! The ice cream is incredibly creamy and has fresh fruit mixed in. I have tried other ice cream places nearby and there is no comparison. I have never been disappointed when visiting Onkel Louie Gees, and I am a forever fan.
The ice cream at this New York restaurant is absolutely delicious! My personal favorite is the Italian water ice, while the rest of my family loves the ice cream. The staff is made up of beautiful and friendly people who cater to both regulars and visitors.
Friendly, helpful owners. family-run, mother-daughter with hearts of gold and delicious shakes and ice. I am glad that someone keeps this franchise run!
95 F and this was the first Ice Cream shop that popo up. Good ice cream. Worth coming back. I would love to see more fruit flavors.
