Pompano Beach House

I visited this restaurant during its opening week and had a negative experience. However, I decided to give it another try on New Year's Day, assuming it wouldn't be crowded. To my surprise, I saw a well-known branded food delivery truck outside, suggesting a restock from the previous night. Upon entering, we encountered a blonde hostess and a group of young girls who were seating guests, one of whom appeared to be no older than 14. The hostess was incredibly rude, leaving a poor first impression that could easily deter potential customers. Despite being seated at a nice table, the layout of the restaurant made it challenging for the staff to reach us efficiently. They were also out of more than half of the menu items, with no apologies offered. Our server was pleasant once we engaged with them, but clearly lacked proper training. The table we sat at had not been cleaned properly, and our salad was missing ingredients with a minimal amount of dressing. The French fries were excessively salty, bordering on inedible. Overall, the quality of the food was subpar and the overall atmosphere was chaotic and unwelcoming. There are plenty of other nearby restaurants with superior dishes and a more appealing ambiance. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant anytime soon.

Had a 7:30 reservation, did not get seated until 8:45, was ushered upstairs to the bar twice. Waited 15 minutes each time and could not even get one of the 5 bartenders to make eye contact. Watched them plunge glasses straight I to the ice. Watched one pour 3 glasses of wine that weren’t even close to equal. Another was pouring liqueur from glass to glass and all over the bar. Many health violations going on with the inexperienced staff. The wrong salads arrived twice. I asked if there was mayo on the burger and the waiter said no. I replied good because I do not like mayo at all. And of course the burger had mayo on it. I realize they are new and need to work out some kinks but we did not witness 1 experienced person working there.

We went to Pompano Beach House the second day it was open to the public. The food was good so I would recommend giving this restaurant a try in a few weeks. The main problem we encountered was having a 7:00 reservation but not being seated until 8:20. They also were not offering their flatbreads that night, which was what I intended to order. I got a hamburger with sweet potato fries and it was tasty. Hopefully they'll work out the kinks and be a huge success because the location is spectacular.

Great food, but chaos at the reception desk. We had a reservation for 7, but were not seated until 8. We had to wait in line every 20 minutes to check if a table was available.

I arrived on time and waited for 10 minutes. However, the food and service were excellent. The view was the best in the Pompano Beach and Fort Lauderdale area. I will definitely return.
