Planet Smoothie - Pompano Beach

Went here tonight for the first time! The staff was friendly, polite and helpful with making a decision! The young man even allowed me to sample a flavor (which I ordered that one in a Medium). This place could truly be a great place to stop! I plan to stop by Monday to get a meal replacement smoothie.

This place is great, wide variety of smoothie options. We tried three very different flavors and they were all fantastic. I've never been to another Planet Smoothie but the ordering process was a bit off or out of order with the orders being placed at the opposite end of the register, but thats no biggie just a little confusing for the cashier if multiple parties are ordering. Also I was mildly freaked out when they sprayed the vanilla flavor (for my drink) out of a large squirt bottle, similar to one that you would fill with cleaning product. Staff was welcoming. It was an over all good experience.

Smoothie bowl was soup, the toppings that were listed on the menu were not put on the bowl and the young kid working was extremely stand offish. Would never come back here, I ended up throwing the $11 bowl away.

One of my favorite places to go to BUT unfortunately I won?t be going back. 1) I asked for a bowl with pineapple and coconut on top, clearly the person that was making them didn?t know how to as I received a WARM smoothie, with mango and oats? 2) he used the same gloves throughout the orders, receiving cash and putting it back to grab lids, before we left he was reaching in the garbage with the same gloves on ? pretty disgusting. Honestly, I don?t think is the kid?s fault but lack of proper management and training. I waisted $20 in two bowls that we threw in the garbage, we had to go to Jamba Juice and buy. We won?t be going back.
