Miyako Japanese Buffet - Pompano Beach

Miyako was always a good Chinese/Sushi buffet for the price. Our recent visit seems that there was a change for the better. The selection and quality of the sushi has greatly increased, the roles use to only your old run of mill rolls that you could order at any sushi place, but on our recent visit they had a much larger and unique variety of reels. Some of my favorites were those with fruits like strawberries and mango. One of them was dried with a sweet white cream sauce. Another thing I've always enjoyed over the sushi buffet is that almost all the reels were marked with the ingredients so customers know what they eat. Even during this visit, the service we received was exceptional when we finished with a plate, he was quickly removed from our table and they always noticed when our drinks were low, so we never had to wait for a refill. It also felt as if the interior of the restaurant had been updated and it was much cleaner than before, it is a place where I will be happy to go back.

Everything was fresh, the presentation was not lost, and the lines were constantly visited by the staff. The sushi was exceptional and I personally enjoyed many of the fresh shellfish and salads. Cudos on Jalapeno and soy sauce Dip! I love the heat!

The food was great. I was in the area for my sisters wedding and needed a quick bite to eat... fortunately enough that I stumbled over this place. Good for family and friends!

This is by far the best Asian buffet I've ever been. Clean restaurant I've ever come in. The best selection of HOT FRESH foods. Just a wonderful evening from the beginning to the end. I can't wait to return. Thank you.

Great fresh delicous food, really love it! Family of 4 was only $109... All server have great customer service. Except manager on duty, we had a small incident and she was kind of rude, but other than that everything Good... I will go back again!
