As a girl from St. Croix, US Virgin Islands, when I crave seafood, I always order my favorite dishes, stew or roasted snapper. The flavors remind me of the Caribbean. This restaurant has become my go-to spot to bring friends and family to try out the delicious food. The owner, who is also a pastor, is a lovely and welcoming man, and the friendly staff and clean environment add to the pleasant dining experience. I am... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mbs Caribbean Bakery:
As a Haitian, I know what authentic Haitian food should taste like. Unfortunately, this restaurant was a disappointment. The rice was dry, the meat lacked flavor, and it was not cleaned properly. I ordered fried turkey and fried goat, but the goat still had the skin and fat on it, along with too many bones. The salad was also spoiled. I would give this restaurant a negative zero rating. The restaurant offers generous portions at an affordable price. The Haitian Chicken was delicious and tender, and the salad tasted fresh. Overall, the meal was very tasty. Thank you!
The Haitian Mac was overcooked and lacked moisture. It was served without any utensils or napkins.
The breakfast fish was breaded and not fully fried, the sauce was thick with flour and tasted like vinegar. I was not satisfied with it. The Creole vegetables were tasty, but I wished I could choose my rice. The portion of vegetables was small for the price of $15, with only 2 pieces of meat in a tiny foil tray. I would have preferred white rice over the red beans and rice they served.
The mac cheese was dry and inedible. The oxetails potion was smaller than the palm of your hand. Not worth the money.
Disgusting everything I ordered fried turkey the rice was burnt. The gravy is soooo nasty. everything is just disgusting.
